Lake Emily
Thank you to all of you who sent letters in to WaterBrook. I asked Dudley about the response to our write-in campaign and he said he'd recieved "dozens" of letters. While that's great, it isn't incentive enough to push toward more Lake Emily books. I know that will disappoint some of you, but I hope not too greatly for I have plans for other heartwarming stories in days and months to come. They may be a bit different but the heart of Lake Emily will be there, I guarantee it.

I have been checking Amazon to see when a new book was coming out and finally "googled" Traci DePree only to find there won't be any more Lake Emily books!!! I have been buying them for my Mom and Sister-in-law, who both also enjoy them. Maybe a change of heart on this issue when life is a little less hectic?
The decision to not publish more Lake Emily books is truly my publisher's. I pitched ideas but they're done with it and that's okay. It allows me to start something fresh, and that's exciting for me. I will have at least two new novels coming out in 2007 so don't fret! I'll keep you posted on release dates and how you can get your copies.
